Luxury Comes to Knox Street

The Knox Street area is getting more focus from retailers — including brands whose shops can be found in some of the more exclusive cities in the country.

Aerin and Julia Amory — which each have just a handful of stores — are slated for shops in the coming months, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Details in TDLR filings are preliminary and subject to change without notice.

Aerin Lauder, the granddaughter of the Estee Lauder founder, is behind her namesake shop. Aerin now lists three shops, including those in East Hampton and Southampton in New York and in Palm Beach, Fla., on its website.

The business includes home, lighting, fashion and beauty in its lineup. It’s a “global luxury lifestyle brand,” according to its website.
