Sunny restaurant from California to open near Dallas’ Katy Trail

SunLife Organics, a health bar founded in Malibu, California, is expanding to Dallas-Fort Worth.

Its first superfood cafe in North Texas will be at 3333 Knox St., across from Toulouse and Taverna, near Dallas’ Katy Trail.

The restaurant was founded 15 years ago and has grown to affluent areas like West Hollywood, Miami’s South Beach, the Hamptons and SoHo. It has two shops in Texas so far, on South Congress Avenue in Austin and the nearby suburb of Bee Cave.

SunLife’s expansion into Dallas is yet another example of out-of-town restaurants finding footing in D-FW. Its location on Knox Street gives it a front-row seat to those walking along the Katy Trail, shopping on the reimagined block or staying at the coming-soon Knox Hotel.
